Lutz Hay Sales

We grow approx 7500 acres of hay in the Lethbridge area of Southern Alberta. Most of it is irrigated so we have 1st 2nd and third cut available year round or until sold out.

When enough orders are received, we offer Vancouver Island and mainland deliveries, and weekly deliveries may be scheduled for certain areas (you come pick up from our truck). We grow all our own hay (not brokers) and we deliver as well as use freight trucks.

The hay is mixes of and pure versions of Alfalfa, Orchard Grass, Timothy, Brome, and Crested Wheat Grass. We do offer a replacement guarantee for quality.

Hay is available in 3x4 square bales and small square bales 60-100lbs Small bales average in price depending on hay type, bale weight and what cutting (1st,2nd,3rd)

Large bales are 1100-1400 lbs and are sold at a discounted rate, usually about $50/ton. Pricing can range from $12 and up for small bales, $140 and up for big bales and $200 and up per ton on full loads.
